The deepest resurfacing we offer, for acne scarring and advanced sun damage. Optionally combined with PRP or exosomes at our Lake Nona med spa, serving Orlando.
Some people arrive here having already tried. A course of lighter treatments that improved the tone but left the scarring exactly where it was. Years of good skincare that never touched the texture.
That is usually not a failure of the earlier treatment. It is a depth problem. Indented acne scarring and deeply etched damage sit further down than gentler lasers are designed to reach, and no number of superficial sessions adds up to a deep one.
CO2 goes to that depth. It asks more of you in return, and we would rather be plain about that than sell it as an easy decision.
Not sure whether you need something this deep? That’s exactly what the consultation decides. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
A fractional CO2 laser removes microscopic columns of tissue through the epidermis and into the dermis, leaving healthy skin between them to drive healing. It is fully ablative, which is what separates it from the hybrid and non-ablative lasers in our range.
Removing tissue rather than only heating it is what allows genuine remodelling of indented scarring. The wound-healing response then rebuilds collagen across the treated area over the following months, which is where the firmness and the smoothing come from.
We can combine treatment with PRP drawn from your own blood, or with exosomes, applied to the freshly treated skin while the micro-channels are open. The intent is to support recovery and amplify the regenerative response. Whether that is worth adding is a conversation, not a default.
Indented, pitted scarring left behind long after the acne cleared. This is the concern CO2 handles better than anything else we run.
Decades of accumulated Florida sun where the damage is textural as well as pigmented, and lighter treatments have plateaued.
Etched lines that remain when the face is completely still, particularly around the mouth where they resist other approaches.
Surgical scars, injury scarring, and stretch marks respond to the same remodelling process, though results vary more here.
Coarse, thickened, weathered skin texture that has not responded to resurfacing at lighter depths.
We run four resurfacing platforms and CO2 is the deepest. It is not the default and it is not the goal. It is the right answer for a specific set of problems, and the wrong answer for most of the others.
MOXI and Halo work at the surface and in the upper dermis. Excellent for pigment, tone, and moderate texture, and the right choice for most people. They will not reach indented scarring.
Three wavelengths treating every layer in one session. The most complete treatment for someone with several concerns at once. Still not as deep as fully ablative CO2 for scarring specifically.
Fully ablative and the deepest option we offer. Chosen for depth rather than breadth. Most correction, most downtime, and the wrong tool for anything a lighter laser can handle.
CO2 is performed by a licensed provider who sets depth and density based on your skin type, your concerns, and your recovery window. Results vary between individuals and continue developing for months. At your consultation you get an honest assessment, including whether a lighter platform would achieve what you are after.
Four steps, start to finish. We’ll talk you through each one as we go.
We assess the depth of your scarring or damage and decide honestly whether it warrants CO2. This is also where we discuss whether adding PRP or exosomes makes sense for you.
Numbing is more thorough than for our lighter lasers and needs proper time to work. Some skin types benefit from weeks of preparation beforehand, and we will give you the specific plan.
Depth and density are set for your skin and the area treated. If you have opted for PRP, blood is drawn and spun beforehand so it is ready to apply immediately afterwards.
This is the longest recovery in our range. Expect meaningful social downtime, close adherence to aftercare, and strict sun avoidance. Collagen remodelling then continues improving scarring for six months or more.
Questions before you’re ready to book anything? Call us on (407) 730-5600 and ask. No pressure either way.
CO2 is priced per session and by area, and adding PRP or exosomes is a separate line rather than something folded into the headline number. We will show you both so you can decide on the addition separately.
Most people need one session, sometimes two for extensive scarring. That matters when you compare it against a lighter laser that might need six or more visits to make a smaller dent in the same problem.
We will not quote you without seeing your skin. At your consultation you get a written plan naming the depth, the number of sessions, the recovery to expect, and the full cost before you commit to anything.
A calm, private space in Lake Nona, not a clinic that feels like a waiting room. You will be looked after by the same small team each visit.

This is the longest recovery of anything we offer and you should plan properly rather than hope. Expect meaningful social downtime while the skin weeps, crusts, and then peels, followed by lingering pinkness that can last several weeks and may need makeup to cover. Strict sun avoidance throughout. We will give you exact expectations for your treatment depth at consultation, because depth changes this considerably.
Ask us, and we will tell you honestly. CO2 is the right answer for indented scarring and advanced textural damage, and the wrong answer for pigment, tone, dullness, and mild texture. Those respond well to MOXI or Halo with a fraction of the recovery and cost. Most people who ask about CO2 turn out to need something lighter, and we would rather establish that at consultation than after you have taken two weeks off.
Numbing is more thorough here than for our lighter lasers and is given proper time to work before we begin. During treatment you will feel heat and pressure. Afterwards the skin feels like a significant sunburn and stays uncomfortable for longer than with the other platforms. We will talk through aftercare and comfort management in detail before you book, not after.
It is optional and we treat it as a genuine choice rather than an automatic upsell. PRP is drawn from your own blood and applied to the freshly treated skin while the micro-channels are open. Exosomes work on a similar principle. The intent is to support recovery and strengthen the regenerative response. It adds cost, so we will explain what it does and what the evidence supports, then let you decide. Declining it does not mean a compromised treatment.
Usually one. Extensive scarring sometimes warrants a second, spaced several months apart to let the first result fully develop. Judging whether you need another before six months have passed generally means judging too early, because collagen remodelling is still working.
This is where we are most cautious. Fully ablative resurfacing carries a real risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on deeper skin tones, and that risk is higher here than with any other platform we run. For some skin types we will recommend against CO2 and steer you to RF microneedling or a gentler laser instead, which often achieves comparable scarring improvement with a better safety profile. Your skin type is assessed before anything is booked.
Generally not, and this is the clearest no in our range. Melasma is heat-sensitive and prone to rebounding worse after aggressive treatment, and CO2 is the most aggressive thing we offer. If you have melasma alongside scarring, we will treat those as separate problems on separate timelines rather than hoping one treatment handles both. We will not use this laser on melasma just because you asked.
Slowly, and that is normal. Once the skin has healed and the pinkness settled you will see the texture change. The scarring improvement, which is the reason most people are here, develops over three to six months and sometimes longer as collagen rebuilds. This is not a treatment that looks impressive at week two. It is one that looks considerably better at month six.
Didn’t see your question here? Just ask us. Nothing is too basic and we would rather you booked knowing exactly what to expect.
Treatments that solve a different problem to deep resurfacing, and work well alongside it.
There’s nothing to decide today. Come in, tell us what’s been bothering you about your skin, and we’ll tell you honestly whether CO2 is right or whether something lighter would do.
Four resurfacing platforms under one roof. Owning the full range is what lets us tell you when you do not need the deepest one.
CO2 is the wrong answer for most concerns. If a lighter platform will get you there, we will recommend it even though this one costs more.
