Soften the lines that make you look tired or cross — while still looking like yourself.
Most people who ask us about Botox have already read a great deal about it, and much of what they’ve read contradicts itself. Is it safe? Isn’t it a toxin? Will it freeze my face? Will I still look like me?
Those are fair questions, and we’d far rather you asked them than didn’t.
The short version: Botox has been used clinically since the 1980s — for migraine, muscle spasm and eye disorders long before anyone used it cosmetically. At the doses used for wrinkles, in trained hands, its safety record is one of the best established in aesthetic medicine.
And here’s the part that settles most people: it wears off. Completely. Every result is temporary by design, which means a result you don’t love is temporary too.
In our Lake Nona studio we treat runway models the week of a show and parents who simply want to look less tired in their kids’ photos. Same approach either way — start low, see how your face responds, and adjust together.
Still just thinking about it? That’s completely fine. A consultation costs nothing and commits you to nothing — come and meet us first.
Some lines sit on your face all the time. Others only appear when you move.
Botox works on the second kind. Every time you frown, squint or raise your eyebrows, the muscle underneath folds the skin above it. Do that a few hundred thousand times across a couple of decades and the fold stops bouncing back — it becomes a line that’s there even when your face is completely still.
Botox is a purified protein that asks those specific muscles to relax. The muscle stops pulling, the skin above it stops folding, and the line softens.
The distinction that matters most: we’re not removing your expression, we’re easing the pull. Treated properly you still frown, still smile, still look surprised — the movement just stops carving itself permanently into your skin.
The horizontal lines that appear when you raise your eyebrows, and eventually stay put when you don't. One of the most common places people start.
The two vertical lines between your brows. They read as angry or worried to other people even when you feel neither — which is why softening them changes how approachable you look.
The lines fanning out from the outer corners of your eyes. We treat these lightly — a face with no crow's feet at all when smiling looks wrong, and everyone can tell.
A very small amount along the upper lip relaxes it outward, showing a little more lip without any filler at all. Also softens the fine vertical lines above the mouth.
Larger doses into the jaw muscle ease clenching and grinding, relieve jaw tension and headaches, and slim a heavy jawline over time. Often the most life-changing use we do.
It isn’t always obvious which muscle is creating the line you’ve noticed. Come in and we’ll watch your face move and show you exactly what we’re seeing.
Three things, and we’ll happily explain any of them in more detail when you come in.
Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau and Daxxify all behave a little differently — how fast they start, how far they spread, how long they last. Because we carry all of them, your provider recommends based on your face and your goals, not on what happens to be in our fridge.
We would always rather under-treat and top you up than overshoot. You come back at two weeks, we see how your face has responded, and we add a little more if it needs it. Nothing is decided on day one.
This is the reassurance people most need and least often hear. Botox is temporary by design. Even in the unlikely event you dislike a result, it fades on its own within a few months. Nothing about it is permanent.
Which product suits you is a conversation at your consultation, not a decision you need to make in advance. Come in, meet us, and let’s talk it through together — no pressure, no commitment, just an honest look at what would genuinely help.
Four steps, start to finish. We’ll talk you through each one as it happens.
20–30 min. We watch your face at rest and in motion, talk about what's bothering you, and agree a plan — including which product suits you and how many units we'd start with.
10–15 min. A series of very fine injections into the specific muscles we agreed. Most people describe a quick pinch. No numbing needed for most areas, and no downtime afterwards.
Straight back to your day. Stay upright for about four hours and skip the gym until tomorrow. You may see tiny raised bumps at the injection points; they settle within the hour.
Botox doesn't work instantly. You'll notice softening from around day three, and the full result at two weeks. That's when we see you again to check it and top up if needed. Lasts three to four months.

Botox is priced by the unit, and how many units you need depends on how strong your muscles are — which is why no honest practice can give you a final number over the phone. Stronger muscles need more; a first-timer being treated conservatively usually needs fewer. Men typically need more than women in the same area. We give you a written plan and a total at your consultation before anything is injected, with no pressure to decide the same day and no add-ons appearing on the invoice.
A calm, private space in Lake Nona — not a clinic that feels like a production line. Come and see it for yourself before you decide anything.

Not if it’s dosed properly. A frozen look comes from too much product across too wide an area, not from Botox itself. We treat conservatively, keep some natural movement deliberately, and bring you back at two weeks to add more if you want it. It is far easier to add than to wait out too much.
It’s among the most studied treatments in modern medicine, used clinically since the 1980s for migraine, muscle spasm and eye conditions long before cosmetic use. The doses used for wrinkles are very small. Side effects are usually limited to temporary bruising or, rarely, a heavy brow that resolves on its own. We’ll go through your medical history at consultation.
Far less than most people expect. The needles are very fine and each injection takes a second or two. Most people describe a brief pinch. Numbing cream is available if you’d prefer it, though most patients decide they don’t need it after the first one.
Typically three to four months. Areas that move constantly, and stronger muscles, tend to metabolise it faster. Jaw treatment often lasts longer. Many people find that with regular treatment over a few years, results last progressively longer as the muscle softens.
Not straight away — this catches people out. You’ll notice softening from around day three, with the full effect at about two weeks. If you’re treating before an event, book at least two to three weeks ahead.
It fades. Unlike a permanent procedure, Botox is temporary by definition — anything you dislike resolves on its own within a few months. That’s genuinely the strongest safety net in aesthetics, and a large part of why it’s such a reasonable place to start.
Botox relaxes the muscles that create movement lines. Dermal fillers restore volume that’s been lost. They solve completely different problems and are very often used together — Botox for the upper face, filler for the midface and jaw.
None of them is best in general; they’re best for different situations. Dysport tends to kick in faster and spread a little more, which suits larger areas like the forehead. Xeomin is a purer formulation with no added proteins. Daxxify tends to last longest. Because we carry all of them, your provider will recommend based on your face rather than on stock.
Didn’t see your question here? Just ask us — nothing is too small, and we’d like you to feel completely comfortable before you come in.
